Experiences That Stay With You

woman with parasol.jpeg

This is not a guided tour, dry as wholewheat toast. I’ve been there, done that, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. You probably have, too.

I keep groups small, with no more than six people, allowing plenty of time for conversation and discovery. The pace is easy and relaxed, encouraging curiosity and helping you see more and enjoy art more deeply, every time you visit a museum.

My art experiences place the work in its full historical context. We explore the social, political, and economic forces of the time, the artists and ideas that came before, and the techniques and styles that shaped what we see. Rather than simply looking at individual works, we trace the connections between artists, movements, and the world in which they lived, giving you a richer understanding of both the art and the people who made it.

In the galleries, we slow things down and spend time with a handful of works, allowing us to explore the artist’s technique and the choices they made, while uncovering the stories, personalities, rivalries, and drama that surround them.

The result is a deeper, more rewarding encounter with art, shaped by history, humor, and conversation.
